• Prepare a 700- to 1,050-word paper in which you examine a building in your community. In your
examination be sure to address the following:
o Describe how the building is put together using at least five of the ten fundamental elements of
architecture—structure, materials, line, repetition, balance, scale, proportion, context, space, and
climate.
o Indicate how the building either assists or inhibits a smooth traffic flow through its space or spaces.
o Point out how the building stimulates the senses.
o Discuss the relationship among line, form, color, and texture in your selected building.
