Argument synthesis | English homework help

Choose two of the short stories we have discussed in class to synthesize into an argument of your choosing.
To SYNTHESIZE means to assemble parts into a new whole. The parts are the different sources, each representing a distinct view or views on a particular topic. The “whole” is your essay in which you explain your position, considering views from the sources that show both (or multiple) sides of the issue.
Your position must be insightful and arguable. In your essay, support your thesis with evidence from the text and from 2–3 scholarly additional research sources. You will be limited to only library-based, peer-reviewed research for this project. Do not stop searching once you have found two or three research sources; find the most appropriate sources for the assignment.
You can assume that your classmates have read the literature you are writing about; however, you cannot assume that your classmates have considered the texts or concepts in the same way you have.
